Shielded luminaires strongly reduce alternating electric fields. The emission of alternating magnetic fields from electrical devices operated in the vicinity is also greatly reduced by the shielded luminaire. The light source is located in a shielded basket which prevents the emission of the alternating electric field. Additional shielding is provided by a closed metal housing, a stainless steel shield spiral and a shielded mains cable.
While conventional mains cables are usually designed with two poles and Euro plugs, the cables of our shielded luminaires are three-pole (with protective conductor, increased safety) and equipped with a metallic sheathing of the cores as a shield.

Shielded luminaires can be used directly without electrical training and without an electrician.
