The cap as we know it today was created for the Excelsiors in 1860.
While the look of the baseball cap hasn’t changed much since the 1950s, attitudes towards headwear have evolved.
The baseball cap – also known as the trucker cap – became increasingly popular in the 1970s and 1980s. In the early 2000s, city dwellers adopted the baseball cap as their everyday uniform. The fact that television and film stars wore baseball caps eventually transformed them into a status symbol.
This also contributed to the fact that it is no longer assigned to one gender.
Today, fashion brands such as A.P.C., Burberry, Brunello Cucinelli, Gucci and Kenzo all offer high-end versions of the cap, taking headwear into the world of luxury fashion.
This model is not to be missed in our new collection.
We offer it in black cotton, in one size fits all, but you can adjust it.
Our model is streetwear oriented and will be more suitable for casual styles. It will be worn by both men and women.
This baseball cap will protect you from both the sun’s rays and high frequencies, as it is naturally lined with a very effective shielding fabric. Thanks to the construction of the shielding fabric with silver-plated copper threads in the warp and weft, its protective properties are excellent.
