Electromagnetic radiation can cause various reactions in the human body, depending on the intensity and duration of exposure. Research over the last decade has repeatedly shown evidence of changes in oxidative balance caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF), even at low doses. To reduce our stress, it is crucial to reduce our personal exposure to electromagnetic radiation. By taking simple everyday measures, you can alleviate symptoms and improve your quality of life. Shielded clothing also offers additional protection.
We have developed the Noha net for the head and neck area. This net made of shielded fabric effectively protects the head and neck from high frequencies such as Wi-Fi, cordless phones, mobile phone masts, smartphones and WLAN.
The fine-meshed net sits comfortably on the shoulders and is held in place under the armpits by an adjustable elasticated band. It can be worn directly on the head or over a cap, beanie or hat and fits headgear with a diameter of up to 35 cm.
Made from a conductive fabric with 10 % silver content, it is very effective at shielding EMF. The attenuation of the power density from 200 MHz to 14 GHz reaches 99.995 % (only 0.005 % is transmitted).
Its shielding capability is as follows:
on average < 45 dB from 0.2 GHz – 2 GHz
on average < 40 dB from 2 GHz – 5 GHz
on average < 36 dB from 5 GHz – 14 GHZ
Silver is considered a biocidal active substance according to §67 of the EU Biocidal Products Directive. In addition, the fabric is free of nanotechnology and certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
The Noha net is not intended for outdoor use as the screened fabric is not transparent enough to allow outdoor activities. It is also not suitable for use on stairs or when travelling by car due to its opacity. In contrast, it is ideal for travelling by air or for use at home.
