Description
Ecologa shielding canopies are designed and manufactured from our semi-transparent fabrics and offer a high level of protection against high-frequency electromagnetic radiation – up to 40 dB. This allows them to achieve a shielding effect of up to 99.99%.
Ecologa shielding canopies are sewn in-house. The shielding fabrics are made of patented high-tech fibres. They are certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
Canopy in rectangular shape with an opening on its long side. Maeva is transparent, airy and pleasant to the touch.
Maeva is available in two versions. A version that can be hung from the ceiling and a version that is placed on the floor.
Maeva is made up of voile. Due to the fabric construction with silver-plated copper threads in the warp and weft, the screening attenuation of this very open fabric construction is exceptionally high and independent of direction.
The shielding effectiveness is max. in dB : ~ 40 dB. Certified by Prof. Dipl.-Ing. P. Pauli of the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich, in accordance with MIL-STD 285 and IEEE Standard 299-1997.

Caution:
Do not operate any electrical devices in the canopy, not even shielded ones! This will lead to field carry-over into the interior of the canopy, which means that the shielding of alternating electric fields is no longer given.
Please observe the necessary distances from lamps, hot light sources and walls (abrasion) to the fabric.
If additional floor shielding is required, we recommend our canopy underlay.
If you use a canopy underlay, please also make sure that the side parts of the canopy rest on the floor mat. The canopy underlay can be protected with a thin carpet.
In this case, the canopy area is always smaller than the area of the canopy underlay.
Canopies made of screen textiles, which cannot be included in the equipotential bonding and thus cannot be earthed, also shield low-frequency alternating electric fields.
