Description
This stainless steel tape is suitable for installation under plaster (e.g. under parquet, laminate or plasterboard) and is ideal for earthing in drywall construction.
Processing perforated stainless steel earthing tape
The stainless steel mesh strips are rolled out on the surface, positioned with an overlap of 5 to 10 cm and then fixed to the substrate.
To ensure electrical conductivity when earthing all stainless steel mesh panels, the earthing strip is screwed to the substrate in the overlapping areas perpendicular to all panels. In this way, the various stainless steel mesh sheets are pressed together, creating good conductivity (even if the screed is subsequently poured in the case of a floor). To attach the earthing strip to the sheets, the screws should be placed at least every 20 cm along the perforated strip.
IMPORTANT!
The required installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. A residual current device (FI or RCD ≤ 30 mA) must be installed in the circuit. Your qualified electrician will install this standard device if you do not have one.
All electrical work (work on appliances and systems) must be carried out and checked by a qualified electrician or under their guidance and supervision!
