Ecologa shielding canopies are designed and manufactured from our semi-transparent fabrics and offer a high level of protection against high frequency electromagnetic radiation – up to 40 dB. As a result, they can achieve a shielding effectiveness of up to 99.99%.
Ecologa shielding canopies are sewn in-house. The shielding fabrics are made of patented high-tech fibres. They are certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
It is a highly innovative and flexible room system designed by designer Nils Bennett. Ikigai can be installed anywhere, yet takes up no space and can create a private and elegant area in seconds.
The very fine metal frame is barely noticeable. The fabric folded inside forms a very decorative image that resembles origami.
If you need a protected wellness area where you can sleep, work or relax without being disturbed by electrosmog, all you have to do is lower the fabric.
As if by magic, the fabric rises and falls in a very sophisticated rotating movement. This system is patented.
The playful lightness on which the system is based is therefore not only functional, but unique.
The fabric is soft, flowing and permeable. It is transparent and pleasant to the touch.
Due to its construction with silver-plated copper wires in warp and weft, the canopy offers very good and direction-independent shielding against high frequencies.

Ikigai is more than just a canopy that protects against high frequencies.
It takes its name from a Japanese philosophy from Okinawa, which literally translates as “value of life”. We live in a digital age where many of us spend a significant amount of time on computers or smartphones. So it becomes necessary for many of us to create a sanctuary to escape this digital world and regain our peace.
Field of application
Ikigai is easy to use. It is suitable for both private areas at home and communal spaces:

No electrical devices may be operated within the canopy, please observe the necessary distances from lamps, hot light sources and walls (abrasion) to the fabric.
If additional floor screening is required, we recommend our canopy underlay.

Wash particularly gently (delicate or wool wash cycle at 30°C).
