Screen curtainscustom made
In order to get your custom made shielding curtain from Ecologa Europe, you should calculate the amount of fabric you need in advance. It depends on how long, how wide and how wrinkled you want the curtain to fall. For the length, measure with a tape measure from the lowest point of the curtain ring or rod to where you want the hem to end. Allow 30 to 40 inches of hem allowance at the top and bottom edges. The optimum width depends on how you want the curtain to fall. As a starting measurement, take the width of the window and add appropriate allowances.

What height should a shielding curtain have?
Ideally, the curtain should rest on the floor.
How wide should the curtain be?
If you want the curtain to be gathered a little more for a drape, then you need a wider dimension.
- To properly choose the width of your curtain we advise you to measure the width of the window and add 20 centimeters to the right and left, so that the edges are well covered. This will give you the measurements without folds.
- If you want the curtain to be slightly folded (often more aesthetic), you must provide at least 50 percent more fabric (that is, the width of your window plus 40 centimeters and multiply the result by 1.5).
- You can go up to coefficient 3.0 (about three times the dimension of the window), if you want a curtain with large folds.
