Form yourown opinion
People are confronted with more and more environmental pollution, not only electromagnetic radiation:
- Nuclear accidents
-
Deforestation
Since the beginning of agriculture, the number of trees on earth has decreased by 46%! And with them a whole variety of animal and plant species, some of which have disappeared forever, although they are often indispensable. -
Air pollution
Air pollution is getting worse almost everywhere in the world: in more than 90% of cities, people breathe polluted air that is harmful to cardiovascular and respiratory health.
On average, this air pollution leads to the premature death of 7 million people worldwide every year, 400,000 of them in Europe. -
The hole in the ozone layer
The ozone layer is essential for life on Earth because it partially absorbs high-energy UV-B radiation that is destructive to DNA.
Ozone depletion means less filtering of the most harmful ultraviolet rays and increased risk to life on Earth. -
Atmospheric warming
N2O, a potent greenhouse gas, is now the main gas responsible for ozone layer destruction. One-third of N2O emissions are due to human activities. -
Water pollution
Water quality is an important parameter that affects all aspects of the ecosystem and human well-being, such as community health, food production, economic activities, ecosystem health, and biodiversity.
There are different types of water pollution. It is physical (altered clarity, altered temperature), chemical (nitrates, metals and other micropollutants), organic (resulting in excessive consumption of oxygen, which is vital for aquatic life) and microbiological due to the introduction of pathogenic germs (bacteria, viruses, parasites).
The interrelationships behind all the developments are very complex and we often lack the knowledge to get an accurate picture of the background and, above all, the consequences.
In order to solve problems, we have to deal with them. Ask questions, get information and finally form our own opinion so that we can act accordingly.
Electrosmog is odorless, silent and invisible. Therefore, it is very difficult for us to objectively decide whether there is a danger to health and – if this should be the case – to recognize how we can best protect ourselves from it.
In order to form our own opinion about the problem, we have to analyze our own situation. By measuring with appropriate measuring devices we can very quickly identify the actual exposure. Please note that cell phones are absolutely not suitable measuring devices and are in no way suitable for finding the appropriate shielding.
A building biology or measuring technique helps to determine the level of exposure and the direction of the source. Only then you can take effective protective measures. First, minimize the sources in your own environment as much as possible.
Therefore, you should determine which rays you want to protect yourself from:
- low-frequency alternating electric fields
- high-frequency electromagnetic waves
You should also narrow down:
- What is the effective exposure?
- Where is the source?
- Have all internal sources of interference been identified and removed? (DECT telephones, WLAN systems, etc.)
- What degree of protection is desired?
Only when these questions have been clarified can you shield yourself correctly. Sometimes it is already sufficient to carry out a partial shielding. You can check the success with a measurement before and after shielding.
